About me...

The Zimmer, The Hat and The Collie is Issy’s first book.

Issy has a vast amount of life experience and some of this includes caring for people with dementia and the elderly. Issy has been a nurse since 1984 and this is clearly presented  with funny Anecdotes within her writing throughout the book.

Issy has several professional qualifications which are as follows:

  • Registered Nurse
  • BSc Hons Specialist Community Public Health Nurse in Occupational Health (SCPHN)
  • MSc Health Ergonomics (human Factors). Issy is passionate about Human Factors which is another name for Ergonomics and is a Chartered Ergonomist (CIEHF).
  • Issy has co-owned and been a director of a successful occupational Health business.
  • She is a positive person, a solution finder and a starter/finisher.
